ā măn wĭth ā pĕ′ncil: n. 1. an individual using a graphite-based drawing implement. 2. a web designer; this site was created by ~.
Actually, I have several pencils, most of them HB grade (#2 if you're in the USA.) But, other than that, why a man with a pencil?
I like to sketch with a pencil. It allows me to build up a design quickly before committing to electronic editing.
Also, I thought it was funny to suggest that web sites were created with pencil and paper. Perhaps that's just a sad reflection on my sense of humour.
I have a clarification for those of you who realise that it's not that simple.
After I decided upon the domain name, my wife pointed out its smut potential, due to the fact that ‘lead in your pencil’ is British slang for male virility.
I have no idea if ‘pencil’ is a euphemism for the membrum virile in the absence of any reference to it containing lead. All I can say is that it hadn't occurred to me in the slightest.
If it occurred to you, then you're as bad as she is and you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself.
